Dr Nir Fulman

Heidelberg University

Project originator and coordinator. Nir is a PostDoc researcher at the Geoinformatics Research Group of the Institute of Geography at Heidelberg University.

Prof Marina Toger

Uppsala University

Leads the Silver Ways team in Uppsala. Marina is a Lecturer/Associate Professor at Uppsala University. She has expertise in urban planning and geography, and specializes in spatial analysis and urban dynamics.

Prof Umut Türk

Abdullah Gül University

Leads the Silver Ways project in Kayseri. Umut is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Management Sciences at Abdullah Gül University, specializing in urban economics and econometrics.

Prof Sven Lautenbach

HeiGIT

Leads the Silver Ways team at the Heidelbeg Institute for Geoinformation Technology (HeiGIT). Sven is a Professor at Heidelberg University and Chief Scientist at HeiGIT.

Dr Kathrin Foshag

Leads the Silver Ways project at the TdLab Geography lab at Heidelberg University. Kathrin is a senior Researcher specializing in transdisciplinary studies and qualitative research.

Mr Johannes Huber

Heidelberg University

Leads the Silver Ways team in Mannheim. Johannes is a PhD student at Heidelberg University. He wrote his M . Ed. thesis on developing routing solutions to help at-risk groups navigate urban heat stress by identifying shaded pathways.

Prof Jan Amcoff

Uppsala University

Supports Silver Ways at Uppsala University. Jan is Professor at Uppsala University's Department of Human Geography. He studies internal migration dynamics in Sweden, regional enlargement, and rural development.

Prof Burak Asiliskender

Abdullah Gül University

Supports Siver Ways at Abdullah Gül University. Burak is a Professor of Architecture and Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at Abdullah Gül University.

Mr Hamdi Elcuman

Kayseri Municipality

Municipal Partner for Kayseri’s initiatives in the Silver Ways project. Hamdi is the Deputy Secretary General of Kayseri Municipality.

Dr Yulia Grinblat

HeiGIT

Manages Data Science for Silver Ways. Yulia is a Machine Learning Researcher at HeiGIT, specialising in deep learning methods for the analysis of satellite and street-level imagery.

Dr Kenny Jansson

Uppsala Municipality

Municipal Partner for Uppsala's initiatives in Silver Ways. Kenny holds a PhD in Human Geography, and a MA in Archaeology. With a background as a researcher at the Institute for Housing and Urban Research, Uppsala University, Kenny is today working as a strategist at Uppsala Municipality.

Dr Philipp Kadel

Mannheim Municipality

Municipal Partner for Mannheim's initiatives in Silver Ways. Philip is the Local Green Deal Manager for Climate-Friendly Mobility at the municipality.

Prof Armağan Teke Lloyd

Supports Siver Ways at Abdullah Gül University. Armağan is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Kayseri University.
